Business Areas Partitioning

Purpose

This administrative guide explains how to define and manage logical Business Areas under Org Settings (/org-settings) to partition collateral categories and prevent regulatory cross-contamination.

1. Business Areas Console

In /org-settings, select the Business Areas tab: - Header: Title "Business Areas", subtitle "Define logical partitions for different item categories", and primary button + Create Business Area.

Core Business Area Partitions:

Cashy-Hub utilizes business areas to partition workflows, notably isolating vehicle loans from general merchandise: - Automotive: Dedicated to passenger cars, motorcycles, and utility vehicles. - Electronics: Consumer tech (smartphones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles). - Luxury: High-value watches, designer handbags, and fine jewelry. - Fashion: Apparel, accessories, and designer goods. - Tools & Industrial: Heavy equipment, power tools, and hardware.

2. Table Columns & Actions

  • BUSINESS AREA: Displays area title and category count (e.g. Automotive • 1 category assigned).
  • MAPPED CATEGORIES: Displays individual taxonomy pills (e.g. Automotive > Passenger Car).
  • ACTIONS: Edit button (edit-2.svg) and Delete button (trash-3.svg).

Clicking + Create Business Area opens CreateBusinessAreaModal allowing administrators to assign new category tree leaves to existing or new business divisions.
